The probability of long-term survival is very low, with less than 30% surviving into the second generation, and only 10% succeeding into the third. The succession of family enterprises is a process, which involves the selection and cultivation of successors, the arrangement of startup elders, and the coordination of family interests. Among them, the selection of successors is the most important thing in succession. Many western family businesses have handed over management rights to professional managers, and some have achieved joint governance between their children and professional managers. Different from western perfect legal system, social trust system and professional manager market, most family businesses in China have chosen the inheritance mode of inheriting their father's business. This paper analyzes the present situation of intergenerational transmission of family businesses in zhejiang province, then analyzes the existing problems, and finally puts forward targeted improvement measures, hoping to provide reference Suggestions for intergenerational transmission of family businesses.
